Sometimes, an unexpected opportunity lands in your lap \u2014 like creating a restaurant. And once you start, it suddenly feels like you also need a feminine identity and a story to go with this remarkable woman. The name Barbara sounded chef-like enough to make the whole idea feel fresh and exciting. In truth, we had no clue what we were doing. But we laughed a lot, and people left with full stomachs. They came, and they stayed \u2014 sometimes not entirely by choice, since one of the doors tended to stick. But the atmosphere was there. Barbara restaurant was born: from chaos, charm, and a generous amount of good wine.<\/p>\n

Today, Barbara is here, breathing and offering experiences that no one can foresee. We have a bit of laughter, just the right amount of chaos, and a style of our own. Experience? Still not quite. But at least there\u2019s a nice sign on the door.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
